The SETT Special Education Curriculum Package is designed to support students with disabilities through structured transition-readiness instruction aligned with federal IDEA transition planning requirements. This twelve-month implementation allows educators and support teams to deliver scaffolded instruction that builds independence, strengthens self-advocacy, and prepares students for postsecondary success.
Students participate in structured reflection and skill development activities that support executive functioning, communication, real-world readiness, and future planning. The curriculum emphasizes student voice and ownership while supporting individualized transition planning processes.
Artifacts created throughout the curriculum are used to support transition discussions, progress monitoring, and planning conversations aligned to transition-focused goals.
