SETT Workbook
A student-centered transition workbook that builds self-awareness, real-world skills, and a plan for life after graduation.
The SETT Workbook is a structured, student-centered transition planning resource designed to help students build self-awareness, develop essential life skills, and plan confidently for life beyond school. Grounded in reflection, skill-building, and real-world application, SETT supports students as they prepare for academic, career, and independent living transitions.
SETT Workbook Framework
Students move through five structured modules that begin with self-awareness and reflection, build skill readiness and real-world understanding, support future planning, and culminate in a personalized transition essay. Each module builds on the last, helping students connect who they are, what they can do, and where they are going.
Supporting Students Through Shared Responsibility
Transition planning is a shared responsibility. While students remain at the center of the process, meaningful progress happens when families, educators, counselors, and service providers work together. The SETT Workbook is intended to be used collaboratively, creating a common framework and shared language to support student development across settings.
